Banana Slug!
We were informed that along the trails in Muir Woods, if we were lucky, we would spot the Banana Slug, which was described to us as looking like a yellow banana – hence its name. We were lucky? As you can see from this photo, the Banana Slug looks more like a rotten, shriveled banana that should have been tossed a week ago and quickly rid Katherine of any desire to eat a banana any time in the near future.
