Windswept
We visited Grandfather Mountain to celebrate our third wedding anniversary. Grandfather Mountain, which typically exhibits a climate similar to Newfoundland, Canada, was blustery on the day of our visit. In fact, one park ranger told us the wind was blowing at over forty miles per hour at the top of the mountain. Our flying hair on display in this picture, which was taken at the southern-most peak of the mountain, just across the swinging bridge, reveals the wind’s force.
